What a place to put this, but my hubby last his job at 3M back in December of 2007. He did get a position working for New York Life Insurance afterwords, but then the economy fell . Since that position was basically sales; you know what that means. For 3 more months he did not have anything. Then one of our neighbors offered him a position at the construction company he worked at. He was hired (and then I got laid off! ). It has been almost 3 months now and he is worse shape than ever. It started off fine, but things changed. He was supposed to be working machines. They have him doing manual labor! Working at 3M ruined his body with all the chemicals and he has been shutting down fast since then. I have tried everything I could think of doing (without having insurance to see a dr.) Now he comes home in tears and just wants to die! Either that or win the lottery . I am at my witts end and in need of help. I am tired of people hurting him physically and want him around in my life. (I have even updated his resume and sent to job offers for him) I want him to find himself and know who he is to do something worth while and know that the people in his family are here for him.
Give him strength to overcome
give me strength to bare
Help this time and place
be free of debris
Bring forth wondrous opportunities
that cause no harm in anyway
May the force of night and day
come from the sway of the sun and moon
Bring forth those energies to make it be
What once was; so long ago
in body and mind
Bring back today and make it so!
Brightest Blessings! |

He is now employed. He has issues with where the position is, but it is a good job. He is a manager of Wendy's. Started him off at a great salary (the highest paid he found out) for being a beginner manager at the store. I tell him it is a good position. He can move up in the company itself and into the corporate side. He still thinks he is flipping burgers' . I hope he gets over that. Anyways, with the economy the way it is everyone has to be thankful for what they receive. I hope he learns this.
